Sportrock Climbing League
The Sportrock Climbing League is a recreational team bouldering competition series for climbers of all abilities ages 16+. The energy we promote fun and lighthearted, but competitive. The idea is to get people excited about competition climbing and build a deeper sense of community!

Team Details

Teams must consist of a minimum of 4 team members and a maximum of 6 total members.

The team's top 4 competitors will be scored. Alternates may compete during redpoint rounds and if they score in the top 4, you will get their points!

Up to two team members can be designated as alternates.
Season Details

The Sportrock Climbing League Fall 2025 Season will run from September to November.

The season is comprised of three competition days, with a Finals round at the third.

Teams will score points at each of the competitions.

The team with the most points after three rounds wins.

Competition Format Details
The Climbing League season we runs across three redpoint competitions where everyone has 3 hours to climb together and amass their highest scores.
The final competition date will include the redpoint round and finals round for the top teams & competitors. During the finals round, competitors will be able to attempt each climb as many times as they would like in a 4 minute period. Competitors will have no prior knowledge of these climbs and may not watch each other climb unlike the redpoint rounds.
Divisions
Your division should be determined by your redpoint grade.
Each team can be a mix of all skill levels:

Division 1 | V2 and under,

Division 2 | V3-4

Division 3 | V5-7

Division 4 | V8+
Competitors may have their category switched after the first competition, either by request or as a result of analysis of scores.
