Sportrock Climbing League
The Sportrock Climbing League is a recreational team bouldering competition series for climbers of all abilities ages 16+. The energy we promote fun and lighthearted, but competitive. The idea is to get people excited about competition climbing and build a deeper sense of community!
Early Registration for the Fall '24 season will open August 10th!

Team Details

Teams must consist of a minimum of 4 team members and a maximum of 6 total members.

The teams top 4 competitors will be scored. Alternates may compete during redpoint rounds and if they score in the top 4, you will get their points!

Up to two team members can be designated as alternates.
Season Details

The Sportrock Climbing League Fall Season 2024 will run from October - December.

There will be three competitions in the Fall Season.

There will be a competition held on:

Oct. 5th: 5-8:30pm
-
Nov. 2nd: 5-8:30pm
-
Dec. 7th: 3-6:30pm, Finals 7-8:30pm

Teams will score points at each of the competitions with the winning team accumulating the most points over all three competitions.
Competition Format Details
This season we will run three redpoint competitions in which all teams will have 3 hours to climb together and amass their highest scores.
The final competition date will include the redpoint round, followed by an onsight round for the top teams & competitors. During the onsight round competitors will be able to attempt each climb as many times as they would like in a 4 minute period. Competitors will have no prior knowledge of these climbs and may not watch each other climb unlike the redpoint rounds.
Divisions
Your division should be determined by your redpoint grade.
Each team can be a mix of all skill levels:

Division 1 | V2 and under,

Division 2 | V3-4

Division 3 | V5-7

Division 4 | V8+
Competitors may have their category switched after the first competition, either by request or as a result of analysis of scores.
