Summer Outdoor Day Camp

Does your child want to try climbing on real rocks, but you're not sure if a week long camp is the right fit? Sportrock Climbing Guides are excited to offer, for the first time, Outdoor Summer Day Camp! Outdoor Summer Day Camp is designed for kids of any climbing ability looking for a fun single day of climbing at a nearby National Park. You'll drop your camper off at Sportrock, and we'll handle transportation to and from the climbing site. Campers will climb and rappel on natural cliffs at Carderock, MD or Great Falls, VA, depending on weather and other factors. In the event of rain, climbing will be moved indoors, but our trained and certified outdoor guides will pivot to provide a specialized experience, including instruction and activities not offered in our standard Day Camp. All camps require advanced registration – we do not accept drop-ins.
