Membership at Sportrock provides a great way for adults and youth to exercise regularly. It also gives people an opportunity to recreate in a safe, comfortable environment while fostering long-lasting relationships with other climbers. When an individual becomes a member of Sportrock, we extend many benefits to her or him including:

Beginner Team - $15/month for members

                         - $ 80/ month for non-members

Advanced Team - $50/ month + Membership

Competitive Team - $70/ month + Membership

Student memberships: A full time student can purchase a four-month membership block for $199 (a $415 value) .  Proof of full time status is required: a current school ID card and a current term course schedule showing 12 or more credit hours must be provided at the time of application.

Membership Policies

Cancellation of Membership. To cancel a membership after the initial term, a member must give Sportrock written or e-mail notice by the 1st of the month in which he or she wishes to cancel and full payment of any unpaid dues or indebtedness incurred prior to the cancellation date. See below for accepted forms of notice.

Change of Membership Type. Members may change their membership type by written request and upon payment of a $25 processing charge and additional initiation and membership fees, if required. No refund of initiation fees will be made by Sportrock; however, an appropriate increase or decrease in monthly dues will be made. . See below for accepted forms of notice.

Freeze Policy. To freeze a membership, a member must give Sportrock written or e-mail notice by the 1st of the month in which he or she wishes to freeze. Each membership may be frozen for a maximum of three months per calendar year. The dues will be reduced to $5 per month for each month the membership is frozen. Only entire billing months (measured from the 10th of one month to the 9th of the next) may be frozen, not portions thereof. The frozen months need not be consecutive. This freeze policy applies for any reason - vacation, work travel, military, school, or injury. Freeze fees may be paid in advance of the freeze or billed via the automatic credit card or draft dues payment system. After the freeze period ends, the membership will be automatically reactivated with dues drawn from your bank account as before the freeze. See below for accepted forms of notice.

All notices are to be sent to Sportrock, Inc., 5308 Eisenhower Ave. , Alexandria , VA 22304 (certified mail, return receipt requested) or via e-mail to info@sportrock.com . SPORTROCK DOES NOT ACCEPT FAXES OR TELEPHONE CALLS FOR CANCELLATION OR FREEZE NOTIFICATION. If you choose to notify Sportrock via e-mail, a staff person will write you back. If you do not receive this response, Sportrock has not received your request.
