Sportrock: Alexandria, VA Climbing Gym

Open since 1996 in Alexandria, Virginia SR2 serves as Sportrock's flagship climbing center.  Having recently finished an expansion of its facilities at the beginning of 2010 SR2 has doubled in size and offers world class top-roping, lead climbing, bouldering, movement classes, climbing classes, outdoor programs, a cardio and weight area, and Crossfit classes.

Given the gym's great Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area location at the confluence of two major interstates and its 200-yard walk from the Van Dorn Metro station on the Blue Line, SR Alexandria is a great way to workout and get your climb on. As a result SR2 has found a niche among Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. residents seeking an interesting and different form of exercise and entertainment. Whether you are a novice,  an intermediate or an advanced climbers SR2 offers challenging rock climbing for you!
