From our beginning in 1994, we have recognized the value of climbing to young people. We've worked to create many kid- friendly programs that combine fun and exercise with true learning experiences.

Our most popular offerings are listed below. Be sure to follow the linked titles to pages with more information.

Kids' Nite

One of our most successful programs, Kids' Nite was created for children between the ages of six and fourteen. This program gives children the opportunity to experience the vertical world in a safe, comfortable environment. With guidance from our experienced instructors, the children climb throughout the facility, at times playing familiar games on the vertical plane.

Our Kids' Nite program was named "Top Friday Night Kids' Adventure" by Washingtonian Magazine as part of their "Washington's Best" Issue.

Junior Team

We created the Junior Team as a venue for cooperation, instruction, challenge and fun. It offers team members the opportunity to improve their climbing safety and technique at a personalized pace. Each child can choose to participate in Junior Team for fun or can choose to compete in climbing competitions.

Summer Camp for Kids

We know the value of a smile at the end of the day. It's a small reminder of why we teach kids climbing. It's because learning to climb is fun, and because it encourages learning general life skills that can be applied every day. Our Summer Rock Climbing Camp doesn't set out to make kids all-star rock climbers but rather helps kids find ways to...

  • Solve problems
  • Make good decisions
  • Act as team players
  • Learn respect for others
  • Enjoy physical recreation and the outdoors, and
  • Do something healthy for their growing bodies.
