Cancellation Policy
Individual class: If you purchased an individual slot in a scheduled
class, you must contact us at least 72 hours prior to the class start time to receive a refund. There is NO REFUND if you reserve space in a class within the 72 hours prior to its start time.
Private party, event or birthday: In order to cancel your event you must contact us at least 21 days prior to the event date to receive a refund. There is NO REFUND if you reserve a group event or party within 21 days of its date.
Sportrock Inclement Weather Policy
Will we be open or closed?
If the Federal government is OPEN (or unscheduled leave, delayed arrival, etc.), we are open. If the Feds are CLOSED then so are we. Early dismissal by the Feds means we all close up shop and go home. You can check the status of the Federal government by going to http://www.opm.gov/status. This site will tell you at the top of the page what the current operating status of the Federal government is on weekdays and weekends alike.
Will a group or a student in a class be allowed to reschedule or cancel? If the Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory or worse (winter storm warning or snow advisory) for the time of a class or group within our operating area, we will allow a reschedule. We will not allow any cancellations under this policy, only reschedules given that the proper weather advisory has been issued. If no such advisory has been issued we will proceed with the class or group and expect the participants to arrive as usual. Weather advisories can be checked at http://www.erh.noaa.gov/er/lwx/.

| Want to use our facilities on your own? In one hour our Basic Skills class will teach you the essential safety skills needed to climb at a Sportrock facility. You'll learn to properly put on a harness, tie into the rope and belay for a partner. You can then use our facilities without the aid of an instructor. Pre-registration is required. |
